Nautical licence exam prep on iOS, Android and web. Question banks are served encrypted from the server, and access unlocks with purchased tokens.
The problem
The core asset of an exam-prep business is its question bank, and in a traditional app that bank travels to the device, where anyone can extract it. Worse, someone who studies once doesn't come back: a monthly subscription doesn't fit an exam you sit only once.
What was built
Questions are AES-encrypted and served from the server, never fully on the device. Instead of a subscription, a token economy: tokens are bought through Stripe and unlock exams — the way users actually consume the product. One codebase ships to iOS, Android and web.
